I know what "jiggery-pokery" is, and if you want to experience it fully, build a switch box! Soldering all the connections and inline diodes, programming, labeling and such! TB is much, much easier and more flexible for those that fly multiple sims. I think I had about $120 in my switchbox when you count all the switches, Xkey controller, building the box, wiring and such. Which goes a long way in cost for a touchscreen. BUT if you are trying to build an authentic looking cockpit, you gotta build switchboxes. So, there's a market for both, and part of the fun is the building I suppose (for some anyway! ). And I suppose people who are REALLY heavy into this sim stuff would like a "cockpit" to fly from. I would too, I just don't have the space/time/money. Gotta say though, in order of importance, I just couldn't do without (1) my X52 HOTAS, (2) Touchscreen, (3) TrackIR, (4) Widescreen monitor. Whoa, THERE'S some $$$ in there! lol
