Thats very kind of you Zorlac.
Yes, this RAD-ALT Switch has three different key combinations to toggle it through OFF - STBY - ON. (CTRL-A, SHIFT-, ALT-A).
The way things stand at the mo. You can either press the TB screen button and go straight to ON or STBY. During the F16 RAMP start procedure, the RAD-ALT about half way through, is put in the STBY mode. A little later in to the procedure, you place the switch to ON (easily sorted with a mouse click).
Slightly OT:
I know Rugg has touched on this elsewhere on the forum; A TB Button whereby you can give it a "timer". I think Rugg was trying to slave a laser to one of the Russian Jets in Lock On. The laser timed out after a minute or two? And I think Rugg was asking if it was possible to get a timer added to a button, or something like that. (Forgive me Rugg, if I am barking up the wrong tree)!
Once again, in F4AF during the RAMP start procedure. On the ENG & JET START panel, JFS is set to START2.
After a few more bits and bobs, the Jet Engine starts to spool up to 70%. At this point, you go back to the ENG & JET START panel and confirm that JFS has switched off.
If you could allocate a timer to a button, say 5 seconds, then get the button to resume its default state (in this example, to OFF).
Unfortunately in TB, The JFS switch has to remain in the on position. I guess, for now, we could use a static switch that doesnt go to on.
