TouchKit Settings...
I noticed a problem with my Touchscreen today while working on a Plugin. It would only let me click at a rate of about 1 per seconds. I had been clicking at about 2x per second and since the button changed states, I noticed that it only changed on 'every other' click. So, it was only seeing one of the two clicks.
After tweaking the Settings in TouchKit I found out that if I go to the Settings tab, and set the 'Double-Click' Time all the way to the left(as short as possible) then on my Touchscreen I could 'single' click much faster. I can just tap, tap, tap away on my plugin and it works much much better. Have not tested this in TB yet, but it should also receive clicks better in the same way.
Not sure why this helped. Maybe since it doesn't have to 'wait' and look for a second click for the double-click for so long, it sees the single click more often?
Also, I read a post that said to Disable the 'Auto Right Click' also on the Settings tab, which I just did. But what problems does that cause? I don't remember having any problems, but maybe I did and didn't know it???
New FAQ?
I've been using TouchKit for over a year now, and didn't know this stuff. Are there any other tips about TouchKit anybody can share?? I can post them in a TouchKit Settings FAQ...
