What do you mean by "I lose my view on TS". Do you mean the TS just goes black?

I don't have FS9 installed right now. But IIRC I didn't use Alt for the menu. I just moved my mouse to the top of the screen and the menu appeared.

But this is obviously a FS9 issue, not TB, right?
