thats right folks, today my first 19" touch panel arrived.
after looking at my lcd monitors i see no easy way of opening them up, no screws on the back like others i have seen, as if they have a 'snap on' front panel ?
model for reference sake is lg 1950sq with a very thin bezel if any one is familiar with them.
so for now i simply just taped the panel to the front of my monitor,
plugged it all in and installed the software.
then using the touch tools i set up the touch panel to be over the correct section of the th2go
(middle monitor = horizontal 1281-2560 x vert 0-1024) and did the basic 4 point calibration,
nothing more nothing less and it worked like a charm.
just pressing the play button was enough to amaze me, hehe touch pause, touch play, woohoo.
so i am now looking at making some sort of overlay frame to mount it in, and then i am definately getting two more, no other hardware until i do
also i am pretty happy with the lockon performance thru the projector so i will forget the current pc upgrade idea until such time that i get the extra two touch panels.
it worked out at just under AUS$200 for the panel including delivery and it took less than a week to arrive, very impressive.
so there you go, couldn't help but share my joy after receiving and testing my touch panel,
cannot recommend getting one enough, compared to clicking around with the mouse which was ok until now, it brings TB up a whole new level, bloody marvelous.
thanks again for this amazing piece of software Z, WBK and all involved.
