Re: Profile for Armed Assault
I've worked out a solution for this problem that works well.
I've set up a virtual machine using VMWare and run a virtual windowsXP inside it.
I uninstalled all the touch screen drivers from the host PC (but the host still sees the screen as a screen, just not a touch screen) and then installed the drivers /within/ the virtual machine.
I then run a server/client touch buddy setup between the host machine and the virtual machine and make sure the virtual machine's display window is placed on the touch screen display.
Works a treat. There's no lag in response time ( i thought there might be but no) and even though i'm essentially loading two lots of Windows, two lots of touchbuddy and the ArmA game (plus whatever other apps are running!) into RAM it hasn't even effected my frame rate in game.
It's hardly elegant but it's /a/ solution!
