Default "Touch" button duration bug or monitor problem?

In my recently completed Orbiter profile are several buttons which use the "Touch" type function. My understanding is that this command will send a macro for the duration of however long you hold down the button, at first sight this appears to work fine but I noticed that after about 5 secs of holding down the key the key will deselect itself automatically requiring you to lift and touch again.

Is this a bug or is it some setting in the touch screen driver?

check that you disabled the "auto-right button" option in the touchkit drivers (if you hold the screen down for a certain amount of time, it will think you really want to hold the right mouse button down to bring up a menu)
