DCS Black Shark profile

As DCS Black Shark finally have been released (yes, only RU version, but still...)
I'm currently downloading it as I write this....I just could not wait for the WE version

Is anyone working on a profile yet?
I'll probably have to make my own anyhow as I'm using 1280x1024, but it's allways nice to find good ideas on what needs to be added, and then of course some new button graphics .
Those are the hardest part as I have no artistic part in me.

Me too... but then you`ve seen some of my profiles, so you know that!

I have BS installed, and had a quick fly around, but just havent found the time to clear my desk and get the HOTAS and TIR all set up again. Plus I had to buy another touchscreen (the old one is being used for something else).

One day soon, it will all come together, and then I can start building a "functional but not pretty" profile... maybe. I`m collecting something from URZE on Saturday that should help a bit

Someone here was a beta tester on BS and was building a profile that they could not show us until it's release I think. If you do a seach maybe you can find it. That was about 8+ months ago or something like that.

Hi, Zorlac! Do you find the BS hard to fly given that all is in Russian? It really looks like a super simulation but it's definitely going to take some time to learn it. I wasn't sure if being a complete RU edition made it more difficult.

Well, it's not making it easier ,
The hard thing will be to remember all buttons and lights.
There is the english manual, but there are so many butonns switches and other stuff on this one.

But if you have a TB profile...then you dont need to learn that, only the warning lights...or can we have them flashing in TB using lua? That would be nice. Then there would only be understanding the settings,and yes of course the radio

Not sure yet, early 2009 by the looks now.
However I have now the gui and most things running in english.
It's just renaming a folder and.... no more russian for me!

So now you don't need to be worried about that.
It's just the warning lights that and the hud that still is in russian.
For the buttons you can use the tips tool and it will show you in english what you are pointing at.

I strongly belive there will be a quick fix to migrate it over to full WE version when it is released.

The LUA support on BS is no better than in LOFC, so there is still no support for checking the status of any switches or warning lights
