As touchbuddy sends the keystrokes to a window the window name must be specififed in the configuration file. For Falcon 4 AF the window name is “BFOps Falcon 4.0 Allied Force 3D Output”
Also the keystrokes are case sensitive, so “P” is Freeze whereas “p” is pause. I found I also have to kill the process “XKWdkApp.exe” (from xkeys) using task manager before any application would receive keystrokes from Touchbuddy. Killing this process did not seem to adversely impact xkeys on the host system. Cheers Peter ![]() ![]() |

Good tips. I have F4:AF but haven't tried TB with it yet.
In the first pic, what is that screen with XP running and the dials on it?? Does that receive output from F4 to update the Dials realtime?

I'm getting an error in TB (testing F4:AF profile):
"More than one windows found to send <macroname> macro to.", yet when I check process list (ctrl-alt-del) there is only one instance of the process “BFOps Falcon 4.0 Allied Force 3D Output”. Any ideas? Last edited by Dodger; 07-06-2006 at 11:13 PM. |

I have never found out why this does this.... spent a lot of time on it with little result.
With TB v1.0.0 you can pretty much ignore the sendto and default_sendto lines now (blind send) in Local mode, and with the upcoming v1.0.1, this is fixed for client/server setup too.

With regards to the first post, thanks for the info! I also have Xkeys running, but "XKWdkApp.exe" doesn't show in task manager. However, awhile back I disabled the virtual joystick and mouse ref. for Xkeys, so maybe that was it. F4AF was occaisionally recognizing the xkeys as an axis control device. I only use Xkeys for sending keyboard strokes. Maybe disabling those would work as a more permanent solution rather than using task manager every time?

I'm working on one at the moment, still in the development stage. Will be doing some more work on it this weekend. Will show some pix on this thread as it progresses
