Yeah, I can vouch for HiTiles... nice stuff, especially for the price.
Stay away from Dr. Stop's pits. The guy that wrote it is really on/off and has made a few promises that he didn't deliver on. I couldn't get 6DOF to work correctly w/ RV. Maybe there was some sort of fix, but w/o TB (I run local), I just wouldn't fly the sim anyway. It would be nice if AF came out with an 6DOF view (and a 3d pit to do it justice), but I wouldn't hold my breath. (just noticed how old this thread is... well, what can I say, I've been away... lol)

To get 6DOF in RV you need to go into that tool (another .exe) and select the RV .exe. Then find the TrackIR settings and set them to 6DOF.
Hope that helps. I bought the HiTiles too. Very nice deal for the price. Takes up a lot of hard drive space though, but you should expect that for lot's of terrain. Same for MSFS terrain, eats hard drive space for breakfest.
