After buying one with a native resolution of 640x480, I would definetly look for one with a natvie resolution of 800x600 (if your getting a 7" or 8" one touch screen)

I have the Innovatek TM-868. The picture is good after it warms up for about 3-5mins.

I'm thinking about getting one of these touchscreens... sounds tempting, but bit expensive for me (considering it's just an input device, kind of just like a keyboard replacement) but anyway, would this one work alright (the 8" one)?

Probably will work, but pricey... ask Dodger (A fellow Oz) what he got and where from, might save you some money....

This is good advice. A native resolution of 800x600 is essential for really clear text at that same res. 640x480 native yields kind of rough looking text at 800x600. For TB buttons it is not much of an issue so far but still the better choice is the higher native res.
