Which Touch Screen?

Hi Guys

I have recently decided to get Touch Buddy for Lock On. Unfortunately I can't find any touch screens for under $600 in New Zealalnd. I have spotted a likely one at this link
http://www.mp3playerstore.com/stuff_...l/IN-700VG.htm . Can any body tell me if this is a sutible screen to use with TB?

Hey Warpig, it probably works fine, but we cant say for certain. Have you tried ebay? Its far cheaper to get one from there. I'm in Sydney and bought and had it delivered for around $270 total.

Thanks for your reply, I am not so keen on using E Bay I have had some bad experiences with it. I am a little puzzeled about some of the products on that link I showed you. Is that monitor I showed you actually a touch screen or is it something else? I am actually looking for a 7' monitor or smaller because I have space issues. The link I displayed earlier looks ideal but doesn't actually say that it is a touch screen.

Still confused

I dont think it is. It would say touchscreen instead of monitor.

Hey Warpig11,
On the link you posted above..on the left side is a menu....select "touchscreens"
and scroll down you will finb a 7" touch screen

OOOPS....the one I saw there might not work.
I did not see anything indicating that it would accept an ac to dc converter

Hi all
Thanks for your help guys.
I think I may just bite the bullet and get a Lilliput 7" direct from the US
and pay the extra money rather than messing about with unknown brands form ebay or something.
It will be a little more expensive but probably safer in the long run

I understand your eBay uneasiness - but my experience was absolutely wonderful. I just searched for "HAMI lcd touchscreen" and bought mine from some guy in Hong Kong - I think for 180$ (plus shipping). It arrived in perfect condition in under a couple of days.

I'm having problems with other online vendors in the US right now (with some other toys) - not anything what I experienced on ebay.

Just a thought.
