Default Finding the correct rawkey or predef key

To help users find the correct rawkey or predef key to use in a profile, I added a section in the *TB* tab to help you.

Fire up TouchBuddy in Client mode (doesnt matter if you are not using client/server), select the *TB* tab, then press and hold the key you want. TouchBuddy should display the rawkey and predef key assignments like the screenshot below.

In this example, I am holding down the left ALT key, which the system also sees as the ALT key (not left specific).

For any character other than A-Z or 0-9, I highly recommend you use this, because different keyboard layouts and languages will move key names around.

This is AWESOME! I saw this a few days ago, but since I don't run TB in Client/Server mode I just ignored it. But I did wonder why it didn't work in Local mode...

But now I see that it doesn't matter. I will definitly be using this to test my A10 profile today. Sweet!

It does not work in Local mode because of the NOACTIVATE flag on the window. This allows mouse events to be received by the window (pressing buttons, mouse move, mouse up/down, etc), but keypress events are not available unless the window can be "activated".
