Default FAQ Update re SLI

THe FAQ presently reads:

"Is TB compatible with my SLI setup?

"At this point in time TB is not compatible with SLI or Crossfire. The workaround implementation is to configure TB in client / server mode."

I have an SLI setup. I was initially hesitant to set up TB becasue of the entry above. However, after confirming with Rugg, I purchased a screen. If you deactivate SLI, TB works as advertised. Pehaps the FAQ should be updatd to read:

"SLI must be deactivated in the NVidia COntrol Panel in order to run TB on an SLI-based system."

Thanks

Can one of our Testers confirm this? We should update our FAQ. I don't have SLI and don't know anything about it.

Today I got my Lilliput and I am now gonna be a Touch-buddy

Thanks for this excellent software.

I have one question. Will it be possible to run crossfire and buy a cheap PCI card like a Radeon7000 which I can get for €35, to run the Lilliput on and Touch-buddy?

Couldn't find any confirmation on this.

If noone have tried it I can have a go for it, after all €36 isn't more than 5 pints of beer (yes beer is expensive here above the polar circle).

First, congrats on the Lilliput. You're gonna love it. Second, I would imagine that you could buy a separate card and run TB on it. I don't think anyone has done that yet so it looks like you might be the guinea pig. Let us know how it works for you!

I have 2 vid cards running locally. I have my ATI 9700 for my game, and a cheap Radeon 7000 Series for my touchscreen. Everything works fine for me.

Thanks, I can't wait to fire up lomac and try this, did a quick try before I got the touchscreen with my second monitor by clicking the mouse, but that of course is quite annoying so looking forward to just press "the button"

@WBK: When I eneble crossfire I cant have multiple monitors and I think my second 1950xtx is just too expensive to run touchbuddy if there is another way around. So I'll order that raden7000 and have a go. I'll order it tomorrow, maybe I'll have it on saturday or monday. Will let you know.

I was always going to try a third vid card like that, but I had old computer laying around so I found that client-server was a better setup for me.

Seems like it should work. I don't have a dual card setup, so I can't comment on any of that. But in a normal system, two vid cards should work just fine.
