Default Programming Touchbuddy tabs

Hi guys,

I'm learning to program TB for use with SB Pro PE. I was wondering if it's possible to incorporate a command into a TB button that not only changes the in-game screen to one of the crewable positions, but also automatically brings up the appropriate TB tab e.g. a command that moves the player into the gunner's position and brings the tab for the gunner's command to the forefront of the touch screen.

Is this possible and if so, how?

Assuming the game has a key command to change the 'in-game screen to one of the crewable positions', then in TB v1.02 the answer will be yes. There will be an option to send keystrokes and also change to a specified tab.

I knew there would be a use for the "select_tab" option

OK guys - i´m getting into it - slowly

The "select-tab"-function is fine - but is there (or will there be) a macro-function for tabs? What i´m looking for is the possibility to put a macro on a tab-button, so when i touch the tab a macro is send and the game switches to the gunner-position (e.g.)

Basically the same thing vasco posted, but going the other direction. The advantage would be not to have the "station-buttons" in all tabs, rather using the tabs as a "station-command".

Hope u all know what i mean

Sounds easy for Zorlac to do. And a good idea too.

I think someone asked for this functionality earlier in the week (its was added to my to-do list while I was on vacation). Should be easy to do...

EDIT: Found the post, it was Andy "yes, its gonna get done tomorrow" Hill

The ultimate comms-tab

Should this produce an F9 keypress when I push the tab button system thingy?

[new-tab]
name = Driver
bgimage = steelbeasts\driver_background.jpg
skinable = 0
visible = 1
macro = predef:F9
[end-tab]
