Guys, I just started using TB this morning. Now I got it working (half pot of coffee later), and made a rudimentary profile for Jane's FA-18.... just enough to drop gear, toggle landing lights, emcon, some basic things (borrowed a few buttons from some F4:AF profiles -- thanks guys). But it works, all 3 commands. Only needed the first 10 minutes of WBK's how-to video. What a great tutorial... perfect for technology-stupid morons like me.

I had this same problem with the position of the TB window, and so I found this thread trying to resolve it. The screen would launch on my main monitor. Then I would have a pain getting the thing centered on my touchscreen while in game. Then I went into the TB toolkit, opened the profile and went to the window page. All I had to do was go to the 'windows start up' box, and hit that little blue button and select monitor 2 (the little one). It set my position to 544 (up) x 1280 (left). One click, and now it works fine when I fire up the game. Great stuff, it's Freakin' magik!

The only thing is the TB goes out of position when I'm in the various menu screens in game. But it goes right back into position when launch the game to start flying. So I guess I don't care too much about that anyway.

Now all I have to do is continue building my profile.

Bravo Zulu to you guys. And thanks,

Ripcord

RipCord,

My best guess for the screen going out of position in your game's menus is that the game reverts to the Windows Resolution for the menus and when playing the game it uses a different resolution.

If you had the games resolution and the Windows resolution the same, then this probably would not happen. Just a guess, you can test it out if you want. But I don't think there is anything Zorlac can do about that.

WBK, now I see that you answered my question later on during your tutorial... but anyway I managed to figured it out on my own. Anyway, nice job.

No, I don't need the touchscreen while I'm in the menu screens of the game, so it's not even worth working on. It is in the correct position on startup of TB, and it's in position when I go fly. That's all I want.

Now need to figure out how Ruggbutt did those transparent hotspot buttons....
