I'm a totally noob to touchbuddy. I've been messing about with the toolkit and seeing if its worth the investment to get a touchscreen. I think you are on to a winner here and I am amazed hardly anyone knows more about this. Well done!
I see there is a module for the TEWS or RWR as we call it in the UK. I fly mostly Flankers, Mig29 and they have a head down display (HDD) that shows waypoints and A2A radar etc. Is there module in the works for this or can the same method that used to export the data required for the TEWS be used? I'm not much of a hacker / programmer but if I had a template of some kind I could figure it out. Thanks Jojo ![]()

I'm not sure either. But in the TouchBuddy folder Zorlac has a sample export file. In mine it has lua output called waypoints as follows:
WayPoint.Current = 1, 23430.072266:2000.000000:118247.250000, -1 Waypoint.0 = 20052.443359:2000.000000:-89874.765625, 1 Waypoint.1 = 23430.072266:2000.000000:118247.250000, -1 So, that part might be possible. You'll have to wait for Z to respond. He is away on a trip and should be back in about a week.

Thanks guys, as I said I'm a noob but have been into lomac for a year or more and recently joined a online squadron. I would love to test some things out to make the combat experience more enjoyable and increase my situational awareness in A2A esspecially when up against AMRAAMs.

I'm a bit rusty on my Lockon LUA knowledge, but you will find a vast difference between what LUA is available when playing online and when you play locally. If the demo file has waypoints in their, then chances are it gets exported when playing locally. Dont be surprised to find errors in the exported data, though nothing that hasn't been correctable with math (at least to date).

oddly, Eagle Dynamics exports some really good stuff... then totall screw some things up by forgetting to export other stuff. For example, the way points are exported, but if you fly online on most multiplayer servers, it will not actually allow you to export where you are... so you know where you should be heading, but no idea where you are to start with <sigh>
