"Touchkit" is the name of the drivers for most smaller touchscreens, supplied by Egalax ( Quality Touch Panel /Touch Screen Solution ). The image that WBK posted is a screenshot of the Touchkit driver's configuration window. If you are not running Touchkit, then you wont see that exact window.

So, it seems as if we've gone off on two different topics here.
1) The profile always appears in the same location. The profile's .tbc file says to start a position 100/100. Is it doing that? If you change the 100/100 to say 500/500, does it still appear in the same place? Do you have this problem with any other profiles? 2) Touchscreen drivers. If you touch your touchscreen, and the mouse moves to where you touched, then the Touchscreen drivers are working fine, and are not an issue, right? PS: I just tried the Donate link, and it too me to a screen to select an amount, then it took me to PayPal just fine. Maybe give it another try?

Yes and no: when I start touch-buddy with a profile then the (touch) mouse is working fine. When I start, after starting Touchbuddy, Falcon4AF then the mouse is always 1 inch in the x-direction and 1 inch in the y direction away from my vinger.... It seems Falcon is affecting my second screen. I run Falcon in my 17" mainscreen in native resolution 1280x1024. Of course I did al the calibration of the mouse. I am using the very common touch driver from www.touch-base.com. This is a universal driver and 3M is using it for his touchscreens. (They call it a UPDD driver, whatever that is) The mouse is running fine and I do not have any problems with all other applications. I will try to disable Hypervision because there may be a conflict with your program. Hypervision from ATI is a program to "remember" each window position of any program. You guys are using special drivers for your small usb touchscreens. I did not install these drivers but maybe this is an issue? Did you test your program on 2 "normal" screens? Quote:
Sorry guys I'm giving you so much trouble. Can I do anything else for you? Tomorrow I will delete the Hypervision program and test Touch-buddy again. |

I noticed that in a previous post you said your second monitor is on the Left of your Primary monitor. If that is the case and you select your second monitor with this tool, then at least the left portion of these values will be negative not zero I don't think. My second monitor has a res of 640/480. So, when I select that monitor from this tool it sets the left value to -640. This is kind of hard to figure out over the internet... All I can say is you must be doing something wrong. Screenshots of stuff may help me at least.Quote:
To fix this problem I think I had to try different drivers. Our TouchKit drivers are flakey. Most of us are using old 'Beta' drivers from about a year ago. There have been 2-3 new versions come out, but I have had problems with them. After having trouble with the new drivers, I have just decided to stick with the old beta drivers. Yes, RuggButt is using normal monitors that just have touch glass overlays. They are normal monitors. I have no idea if our TouchKit Drivers would work on your touchscreen. You could ask in some forums for those screens.

Hi W.B.K. and Zorlac,
Sorry for this very late response but I went abroad for a couple of weeks for my work. The mouse problem is solved by running the game in native monitor-resolution. Just doing some tests now with Falcon and I discovered I have to learn the whole game again Thank you very much for all the help and patience. |
