Default How about a step by step instruction....

A little FYI, I've been working with computers since the K-pro 4, but I'll be damned if I can get this to work. Are there any step by step instructions to get this working? I'm running a nVidia 7800 GS OC and for the life of me I cannot get IL2-46 on 1 monitor and TB on the other.

I'm guessing it's due to my vid card and it's controll panel, but if I alt-tab out there's no indication that TB is interacting with IL2-46 in any manner.

All suggestions are welcomed.

TY

Are you running in Local Mode or Client/Server? Are both monitors hooked to the same 'Local' computer?

Are you having problems with TouchBuddy or the Toolkit?

TouchBuddy is just a normal program. You can just drag it by the Titlebar to your touchscreen monitor before you start your game. If the Titlebar is not visible in the profile you are using, go to the *TB* tab and enable the Titlebar.

Also, have you made this change to the IL2 conf.ini file?

I play IL2 1946 all the time with TouchBuddy.

I did get it to work, finally! It had a lot more to do with my video card running 2 monitors.
Step by step
1. I have an nVidia card so I used nView to set up both monitors. #1 is the large DVI or primary and #2 is the old POS flat panel.
2.Set them to "dual" meaning each has it's own resolution. This is done thru nVidia's control panel. It's not too compilicated so I won't detail it here.
3. You'll know it's set up correctly if you can drag a window from the primary monitor to the secondary monitor.
4. I ran IL2-46 and at the main menu I alt-tabbed out to start TB in local mode and then drug it to the secondary monitor.
5. I then went back into the games and it worked! Yeah! It's amazing the time we'll spend to get these little things to work! LOL!
6. I use my mouse with TB as I have no touch screen, but it's far better than fumbling with the keyboard.

BTW I used your profile and controller settings thanks for the work. Once "dual" monitors were properly set up it worked great!

Now all I need to do my device-link to the other computer for my gauges! LOL!

My hat's off to you guys for this simple, but valuable program!
