IL2 Minimizes When Using Touch Screen
Hello All:
Just upgraded to Win 7. Using Lilliput Touch Screen with eGlalax drivers/software. VC is nVidia GTX285. I get I get TB started, load the IL2 profile, start IL2, drop into the pit, touch the touch screen and the game minimizes to the taskbar. I've tried numerous setting but am running out of ideas. Thoughts? |

Have you fixed IL2 so it will let your mouse leave the main screen? Check this out: !!! iL-2 local mode fix !!!

Look at the options in your Touchscreen drivers. There may be an option you can turn off like right-click that causes a popup menu which can minimize your game. Maybe an other option.
I remember that some game I played a while back, on XP I think, would do that. It may have be IL2, I cannot remember. But it only happened the first time I touched the touchscreen. After that it would not happen again. Does it happen all the time for you? I found that if I touch the touchscreen just before I started the game that sometimes it would not happen. I'm on Win7 now and not having that problem at all..

I "just" upgraded from Vista 64 to Win7 64 (like a breath of fresh air too - I really like Win7 so far). It didn't do it in Vista but is minimizing in Win7.
What drivers are you using WB? I've tried most setting that I can find but still no solid success. I've also tried starting IL2 first, tabbing out, starting TB etc... It doesn't minimize all the time but I would say 90% or so. |

I am using 5.6.0.6806 drivers.

If you are using touchbuddy as local and not networked, you need to run IL-2 in DX mode, not OpenGL.
