Hey Andy,
Umm, not sure if I can help here. Have you gotten IL2 to work before these changes? This thread is over a year old and primarily about the cursor not leaving the primary monitor which has been solved. It works with touchscreens now. (I have a new profile that I will post soon for the IL2 Series) I use ATI, so I can't help with nVidia. Maybe some other forum can help here? I am running IL2 1946 using OpenGL with ATI with my touchscreen running locally on my gaming pc with no problems. The touchscreen works fine, and the mouse leaves the primary monitor to let me touch the touchscreen. I am a happy camper...

I had Il-2 working perfectly for over a year, but now after the upgrade I only get a black screen on the touchscreen when I start up the game in opengl. I noticed a mention of the opengl-problem in this thread and after a bit of investigation it seems to be true to some extent, but afaik there shouldn't be problems with modern drivers and a modern OS. I'm just hoping someone somewhere knows how to fix the problem.

This is a bit odd. The touchscreen doesn't actually shut down, it just shows a black screen. I can move the cursor there and it shows just fine and TB seems to be still working (though I'm not completely sure), the screen is just completely black. Any ideas?

It seems like a problem with your graphics drivers. Have you tried it with DirectX? I would post this over on the ubi.com forums. You'll get more eyes looking at it...

Directx works, but the calibration of the touchscreen seems to be off. Directx isn't a very good solution anyway, since Il-2 runs better on Opengl anyway. I'll try to seek help from Il-2 boards as well as nVidia boards, but I'm hopelessly in a minority here. The group of people using Vista-nVidia combination to run Sturmovik isn't huge to begin with, even fewer are running 8800GTX and especially touchscreens (or a secondary monitor), which is an important part of the equation. Those people are most likely found here, I think.
