I have also uploaded my source .png files that I create using Fireworks 4.0 to make the images for this profile. Download it here.

And there is a simple video showing the steps and procedures used, that I made for Mag_Maverick, but thought others might find it useful.

WBK's new IL2 profile is an awesome compliment to IL2 and to TouchBuddy's list of profiles. Detailed, thorough and beautifully put together. WBK has provided us with just about everything an IL2 flyer needs at your fingertips. We all use different devices to help us with our flight sims. TouchBuddy and WBK's new profile adds another dimension. You now have the option to use voice (VAC), TrackIR, HOTAS buttons, and now TouchBuddy to execute your hard to remember, complex keyboard commands as well as adding a higher level of realism.

Thank you WBK.

Just playing around with the profile at the moment (still blown away by it) and have a quick question regarding the bombsite calculator:

When set it to KPH I assume the ALT value is entered in Metres, therefore in MPH mode the ALT is feet. Is this correct?

Perhaps this could be made clearer on the calculator.

I also think that the values needn't be so small when using the drag function, for IAS the smallest value could be 10, and for ALT is could be 100. For more accurate numbers you could use the + & - buttons. This would mean it would take less time to get the settings you need. Getting to 10,000 feet can take some time. Also I've noticed that switching between KPH and MPH resets the values, it would be cool if switching the modes just converts the values.

The more I play with this profile the more I'm impressed. Great stuff.

yes, that's correct.

I agree with all of that. When I got it finished, I was just pretty happy that it was working well, and the drag function was just fantastically easy to use. But I noticed most of what you have said, and I'll put this post in my notes for the next time I do an update to it. Thanks.

The bug fix was to code them with a dummy deselect like this:

macro_select = predef:I
macro_deselect = {}

This allows the engine to start when the button is first touched, not when it is de-selected/reset. The deselect macro does not send any keystrokes. This fix worked for all Hold buttons:
Thanks WB,
I will try that, I have been using it with Mavericks workaround and so far it has worked.

Once again I want to thank you for all the time and effort you have put into this profile. While trying to set my own profile up (initially), I know that it is not something that you knocked together in one sitting. Your dedication to the game, TBT and this profile is laudable. We really do appreciate it.

Bill, I've had to be away for awhile but just took a look at this. This is really good work! I've downloaded it and will be putting IL2 back on my system to give this a try. It's really hard to understand why TB hasn't caught on a lot more. I guess it's the idea of the extra HW and it's cost but I would think there exists a group of hardcore simmers for each of the major sims that wouldn't be concerned about the cost.

I hope that I will be able to apply some time to TB and the flight sims again over the winter months. I will try to promote TB wherever I can.

Thank you for your contribution...I know what is involved in getting this sort of release done.

Cheers!
