Ok WildBill, got er going and must say.....WOW!
I used your setting.ini and reset my joystick config. Works great! Even tried bombing with your new bombsite calculator. Hit tgt deadon from 4000m

I did review the toolkit info but I am still having one difficulty. I want to remove the Time module with the 4 buttons that control time compression from all tabs and replace them with the Zoom module. I tried editing it with the toolkit but when I saved and went out and retried I had many error windows pop up. It looks so easy in your video but I am doing something wrong. Anyway can we replace the time module with the zoom module?

Those buttons around the edge (toolbar) are clone type buttons on all tabs, except for the first tab. Here's how it works... If you have a button on one tab, you can have it on other tabs too, by adding a button and making it a clone of the first/original button. The benefits of clone buttons is that they remember the state of the original button, and can also be locked in the same position. So, if the original button is a button that has multiple images, like a toggle or hold button, all of the clones stay in sync with the current image and which macro (select or deselect).

So, on the Game tab, I have all of my original/source buttons, and on all of the other tabs I have clones of them. Get it?

To remove one of these toolbar buttons, it is best to delete the clones first, then the source button. Because if you delete the Source button first, then all of the Clones are pointing to a button that does not exist. I think that was the problem you were having.

Start on the last InfoH tab and delete the 4 Time buttons, then go to the next to last tab (Info3) and do the same. Then when you get to the Game tab, delete these original/souce buttons. Note: if you have problems, you may need to save the profile and reopen it before deleting the source buttons on the Game tab.

Let me know if this works. I should have put some code in the Toolkit to stop users from deleting source buttons if clones are pointing to them. Or maybe even warn the user that deleting a source button will then delete all of the clones as well. But I didn't do that. I'll add that to the to-do list.

When you used the Bombsight Calculator, did you use the Velocity(TAS), Distance, and Altitude buttons? If so, how did they work?

For me, they were too slow. Zorlac hardcoded in a .2 second pause between sending each macro for Touch type buttons. I've been wondering how this worked for others. For me, this just is too slow, so I use the keyboard numpad keys.

Also, do you find the Help file useful, or don't need it much? That was a last minute thought to add it. I thought real noobs/rookies would find it most helpful. Ya know what I mean?

You are correct WB. I must have begun deleting the source button first. I will try and do what you explained tonite. One thing for me as a n00b on this was a little difficulty with the "tab" feature in toolkit. It took me awhile by trial and error to realize that once you select tab, then, if you want to see a specific tab, it must be brought to the top with the scrollbar. I messed around for awhile until I stumbled upon that.
Also, it looks like the plugins are already packaged in your profile. Is it still necessary to upload them to the root drive?

In response to your Bombing question. Yes I used all the buttons on the TAS. The .2 delay did not bother me. I really liked the plugin ALOT! The 2 suggestions I do recommend are;
1. Increase and decrease distance needs to be able to be adjusted in 1 degree increments. I am not sure how far it traveled each time I selected the button but it was too much to fine tune to get on tgt easily.
2. Is it possible to readjust the altitude to a tighter range? In IL2 bombsite you can adjust in 10m increments. I think this one is set at 100m. Not a big deal but would help a bit. Like I said, I flew a he111h6 at close to 4k and hit targets on a dirt road deadon on first pass. It is a great plugin and fits into your profile very well. I too can see you spent alot of time working all this out. I for one want to thank you guys for it too!

No. The profile points to those that I included in the profile, so the plugins should work without copying them to the root drive, as you say. But if I created a new version of a plugin, then when you install it, you need to copy that new .vbd file over the other one the profile points to. The .vbd file and the plugin setup.exe must be from the same download. That's why I have the instructions to copy the .vbd files, even though I include them.

Since those buttons worked slowly for me, I had the macros send the keystrokes 2-3 times every time you touched them. You can edit those buttons and just make them send the keystrokes once. And remember, that those buttons are touch and hold. As long as you hold your finger on them, they keep sending the macros with a .2 second pause between each one.

Your welcome, and I appreciate your comments and praise. It was a lot of work, but well worth it.

The fix for the other button should be the same here. In the Velocity, Altitude, and Distance buttons (+/-), I had it send the keystrokes 2-3 times, so edit all 6 buttons to send keystrokes once.

Let me know if it is too slow here also. Not that I can do anything about it, but this was the only real thing I didn't think worked right.

PS, do you use TeamSpeak? There is a TeamSpeak module you can add that is built in to TB.

Man I am starting to feel like it is my birthday and Xmas all rolled into one
Yes I use TS! I must scour the site a lil better to find that little jewel. I definitely would like to add that to the profile.
Thanks again WB.

It's built in to TB. Not a plugin like my stuff. My stuff is called Plugins, and they run in IE windows. TS is called a Module, and TB has a few Modules built into it. It has TS, a Click-through window, and some Lockon displays.

First, Add a new Tab. Click the Tab Editor on the Toolbar (see Toolkit Help). Make sure the tab is selected when you add the module.

To add the TeamSpeak module, look at the Help in the Toolkit. Look at the Modules and it will tell you how to add one. Once Added, select 'teamspeak' from the dropdown 'Type' list. This TeamSpeak module takes up the whole tab area. But it has a Back button to go back to the last tab.

You can read more about it in the touchbuddy.cfg file in the TouchBuddy folder.

Last, you will need the i4 Info button on the Info1, Info2, Info3, and InfoH tabs. Thoses videos on How to create a Simple profile show you how to add the images to the Library tab so you can use them to make a button. Drag both the Info_Tab_4.gif and Info_Tab_4_2.gif images from the profile's Info folder.

I have not used TS, but users use it with Lockon profiles all the time.
