WBK I loading in the new version and I haven't managed to replicate any of the bugs I got last time. It looks like this one is a keeper!! No need for a long beta test report since this one works perfectly.

Hey PM,

Can you check the download for me now? I am having problems...

I just changed the new Bombsight Calculator download so it's ready to go, but when I click it to download it, the file extension gets changed. It seems the website adds a cryptic number to the end, and the extension .efw. After it downloads, if I change the download back to .zip it is ok, but this is strange.

This also happens for all of the downloads in the Plugin section. I'm just not sure if it's just me now because I just updated my pc to a new Firewall/AntiVirus System. This is strange...

If it does this for you as well, I'll have to email Dodger to see if he can fix it.

Also, I'm going out of town for the weekend tomorrow.

WBK I just downloaded v1.1.2 of the calculator and everything worked fine. No strange extensions or odd behavior. Looks like it might be your end sorry.

I just rebooted and it tried it again with the same results.

But when I Shutdown my new firewall, I get the correct .zip filename. So, I need to figure out my new firewall.

I'm off to Mom's house for XMas now. Merry Christmas to you guys!

Hmmm... I found the problem with my 'Firewall'. You have to turn the 'Inbound Email Attachment Protection' OFF. This fixes this problem when you are (not emailing anything) just downloading from a webpage.

Hello WBK and Primary, thanks guys for sorting out the problems that i was having , ive been a bit busy this week and hardly had time to reinstall everything or to check this thread , but it seems that you both have been quite on to it.
So im all up and running now !
