The server on my PC run in Java. It's the gateway between LockOn and the PSP.

LOPSP run with LUA.

I think the better way is C# + DirectX.
I don't know VB6 ActiveX Control.

c# / directx does make sense. Doug do you know Directx? I've done plenty in c# but no directx at all (yet).

DirectX is not difficul to use.
You can down the SDK to watch what i looks like.

Maybe it could be very interesting to use 3D.
What about build a full 3D cockpit ?

Sounds good Doug, though why create a 3D cockpit? Lockon has it already, and the new KA-50 will be clickable. I know it would be a fun challenge, but it depends on what you want to achieve. Ultimately with Black Shark we will just need bigger touchscreens

Would it make more sense to stick to 2D so people can make affordable realism additions for sims.

Wonder how much a 23" touchscreen that runs at 1920x1200 would cost?

A 19" cost between 800-1000 dollars.

How are you planning on switching between the tabs? Traditional tab buttons or perhaps one main screen with a pitcutre of the cockpit on it so that you can click the panel part you wish to see closer? Might be interesting.
