LockOn doesn't support surround and since it's the one I'm flying the most I haven't worked out the how and where the back speakers are gonna go.

I'll try to get it done this week. As it stands now I'm swamped at work and my drive to this job for the next month or so is 70 miles a day............So I'm doing longer days.

m8, i know how you feel...I have 100 mile round-trip each day...a real pain in the a$$. Its usually a 1-hour drive each way...sometimes I get lucky and do it in 45mins but that usually means I need to do about 90-95mph most of the way (in between fecking trucks slowing me down).

Sympathies m8.

Living here is nice in that I have only a 10-15 minute ride to the office -- the question is will I survive that 10-15 minutes of white-knuckle terror with all these bloody idiots on the streets here. What a frickin' zoo. A nation of people given to vodka, melancholy, speed and utter choas shouldn't be allowed behind the wheel. I still remember those long commutes, though... not sure which is worse.

The 352nd Fighter Group, http://352ndfg.com/IL2/ has a number of members that are branching out into Lockon and Touch-Buddy. One of our members is in the Army and is a Russian Language Specialist. I will contact him and see if he would help interpret the cockpit of the Russian aircraft.

I also went through that same language school - only I was in the Nav. That was many years ago, but it was a cool experience. Nothing, however, can substitute actually living over here.

Interpreting a Russian cockpit shouldn't be a problem. I'm not a LOMAC guy but Rugg knows that I'm ready to help out if he has any translation projects.
