Well, my gaming rig is down. I'm RMA'ing the mobo and CPU. So looks like I got some time on my hands. Good thing that I kept all my workgroup stuff on my old rig.

Was that a new rig? (RMA = Return Merchandice Authorization?) I'm not up on all the Internet Acronyms.

I just restored my pc from a Ghost Backup. Now it's running about 30% better in Windows. Games are about the same though, but that's to be expected.

Yeah, it's an e6750, EVGA 680i SLI board, 8800GTS 640mb, 2 gigs OCZ PC8500 RAM. Yep, your RMA acronym was correct.

Intel will get the processor on Friday, EVGA gets the board on Thursday. I'm not sure which of the two it was so I sent both back. I know the board had problems when it first came out, but I got mine after all the fixes (I think).

Hey, Rugg!

Sorry to hear about the new gaming PC...but probably better for it to happen early so you can get RMA's processed. I was lucky with mine...older technology but my first from-scratch PC. It's still going strong with a modest overclock (running 3.2 GHz, up from a stock 2.66 GHz). Runs pretty cool and definitely better than the old P4 @ 3 GHz ...which does a nice job running networked apps now (like TB).

Hope they get it turned around quickly for you...I know you're pretty active online flying and gaming and downtime hurts.

I sent my stuff on Tuesday, and both items have made their destinations as of this morning. So now I'm just waiting on the second half of the RMA process.

My rig is up again but I've been swamped with work. I'm even working this weekend. I'll get back to the right panel soon enough.

Are there any updates to that Profile?
I really like the A10 and it would be great to use this beautyfull looking Profile on my new Touchscreen

Yeah it's a shame that this great profile never made it to a final status.
RuggButt might pick up the work one day - but it's been so long now.
I kind of gave up my hope

But maybe life comes back to this profile when the new A10 mod has been released !!!
