A-10 WIP Profile

I'm not sure if I should even post any progress shots, as it doesn't look like I have much done.

I had my LASIK touched up last week and right now I've been going back every other day as I have some inflammation around the the "flap" and they're keeping an eye on me so it doesn't travel to the center of the eye. Today they told me that I could come back in a week, so the inflammation has come down to a level that's manageable. I'll try to get back on the ball and spend a few hours every night to get this thing going, as I'm excited about the little bit I have so far. Maybe I can even talk Zorlac into doing a custom loadout module that will fit in the profile.

Anyhow, here's what I have and I'll post updates as they come. Prolly won't try to touch Photoshop till the weekend, as TV and the computer monitor still bother me when I stare at them for an extended period.

CCRP/CCIP will toggle back and forth, I don't want to put Guns on it as guns deselects jettisonable ordnance. HUD "intensity" will be functioning, and the gear knob will be sync'd with the gear lights.

Holy Cow Rugg

You did that with damaged and sore eyes? I am very impressed. Looks like the start of another fantastic profile. Just do me a favour and take easy at present, with work like that I'm looking forward to more awesome profiles on the future and we don't want to lose your talents because you jumped into designing again too soon.

I do like your worn look on the profile, I've tried several attempts at doing that to my Falcon profile but I never get the look I want. Oh well, must keep trying.

Although I only fly Falcon, I can sure appreciate this great work!
I can only ecco what SytRep said...especially the take it easy part.

It's going slower than I'd like, but you can get an idea of how much I distress each panel. Most of this gets covered up.

I make 'em all for single touchscreens. There really isn't another school of thought if you have two. I'll be doing this profile in two versions, one for large monitors and another for small ones. The only difference will be the comms tabs. More comms buttons on the comms page cuz they're too big on the large monitors. The cockpit panels and stuff are just about lifesize on a 15" or 17".
