unsure what's going on but i have tb running with the f-15 profile and i am loosing the comms to the active modules as they are going stale after say my third attempt of a mission eg: after dying, quit, fly and restart mission several times they stop receiving data.
as you may know from my setup i am running 6x instances of tb on the client pc the button functions all remain fully functional, but the active modules go stale? latest version of the f15 1.3 latest version of tb cheers, ggg. |

a picture tells a thousand words,
so here is a screenshot of what i am describing. ![]() in this example, i have changed the bottom right to also display the tews after it had stopped working on the top tews, as you can see the top module has stopped recieving data, where as the bottom right tews is still showing the correct information, an su33. this was tabbing to the bottom right tews after re-entering the game ? from this we can determine that: 1, the game-server-client connection is fine as the tews data is still being recieved by the bottom right, and all game buttons remain fully functional. 2, the top left and right are loosing the data for whatever reason, i don't understand. 3, note that the tews displayed in the pacs top left has also stopped just like the tews top right. 4, this also happened to me when only running a single instance of TB looking at the tews active module, so i am pretty certain its not an issue with the multiple instances. 5, this minor hickup is killing the experience ![]() any ideas? This is going to be a tough one to fix, mostly because it doesnt happen on my systems. I`ll try to look at it, but dont hold your breath

Rarely do I get that in m/p, it seems to be more of an s/p issue. In fact, the last time I had that happen I had something wrong with my OS and had to reinstall a backup image.

i think the best thing to do is a fresh install of the os and the game + fc
i have done a lot of mucking around with lua files and configs etc so i think its best to start fresh and see if these problems persist and see wether or not they are from my tinkering ![]() majorly out of it right now so tomorrow is another day, i want to save my controller setup etc so i had best leave it till later ![]() thanks for the feedback. think i will leave the client as is and just format the game machine and see how that goes, as the client runs a few game servers and TB thats it. must backup the lockon controller settings first ( this is to remind me )will let you know how i go, cheers ggg. ps: new screens lockon ru 15-06 Last edited by ggg : 06-16-2007 at 11:13 AM. |
