This download is my Visual Basic 6 Source Code that I used to create my Bombsight Calculator Plugin.

Plugins in TouchBuddy are simply a Internet Explorer Browser Windows embedded into a TouchBuddy tab. So, if you can write a program that can be displayed in Internet Explorer, you can use it in TouchBuddy. I use VB's UserDocuments because I know how to program them. They are basically web controls that you would place on a webpage, like a Textbox or Button. But I added graphics and and more controls to them.

This Plugin lets you calculate the TAS (True Airspeed) by entering the IAS (Indicated Airspeed) and the Altitude data. This is useful for Bombing in WW2 simulators where TAS is required by the bomb sight.

Simply drag your fingers over the blue numbers on your touchscreen to adjust their values, and calculate the TAS on the fly.

CHANGES:

V1.1.0 - 11/11/2007

- Changed the values for dragging as follows: IAS: 10, ALT: 100
- Changed the KPH/MPH Switch retain the current values when toggled.
- Added a 'clear values' function when the TAS number is clicked. This can be used to reset to 0 and start over if needed.

v1.1.2 - 12/21/2007

- Fixed Type Mismatch Error when switching from KPH to MPH when the app first is loaded.
- Changed the IAS button increments to change by a value of 5 instead of 1.

This Plugin lets you display and manage Screenshots that you take while your program/game is running. This is handy for taking screenshots of your Game Information like: Key Commands; Help Info; Goals; Instructions; Route; Targets; etc...

You take a Screenshot with the Alt-PrintScreen key on your keyboard. Then touch the Paste button in the Plugin to add that Screenshot. More Help and Features info in displayed in the Plugin Main screen.

Skinable ActiveX Plugin

This is the first version of my WinAmp Player. It has 2 simple Skins to get you started. You can make your own using a graphics program and the Toolkit.

These skins are designed for a 640x480 TB Plugin. But you can create new skins any resolution you like. You just need to edit the background image, position the buttons, and make the profile you use it in, the size you want.

NOTE: You must start WinAmp before you using this Plugin. This Plugin sends commands to WinAmp but it currently cannot receive any information from WinAmp. So it cannot know the 'state' of things like if Shuffle is turned on or off. If Repeat is turned on or off. The current Volume level. Ect. So you need to set WinAmp first to know how they are initially set.

This Plugin was tested on WinAmp version 5.2.4.703, and was only tested so far on my local pc.

Just read the Readme for installation instructions. Please give me some feedback, and report any bugs you may find.

Brewber19 Su-25T - Airfields Plugin

The idea for this addon was inspired by OSCARs touchbuddy map plugin...and I decided to make my own that was easier on MY eyes, because the real map messed with my eyes...and I wanted quick access to airfield 'numbers' when crash....er...landing in LOFC.

This plugin is designed to 'plug and play' with my 'Brewber_Su25T' profile, but can be used independantly - see the readme.

Tested with TB version 'touchbuddy-1.0.1-20060712.zip' and used regularly (by me

) on the vvs504 Air-to-Ground server.

LOFC Maps Plug-in Beta

Do you get tired of shifting printed maps of the Lock On Theater around on your desktop? No more - add them to your Touch-Buddy profile, and they will be just a touch away.

This is a simple plug-in that will display Red Dog's Lock On Theater Maps and Airport Diagrams in a tab using HTML files. It is a first draft - nothing fancy right now. There is a readme file included that provides instructions to add the capability to your profile.

Please respond with any suggestions or improvements - this IS a work in progress.

ActiveX Realtime Timer Test

This is an ActiveX Plugin written in VB that displays a realtime Start/Stop Timer on a TB Tab. The time actually counts up, and the lights flash. This is just a test to see how the ActiveX Plugins writtien in VB will work in TouchBuddy.

Give it a test and see how it works for you. You can put it on an ActiveX Plugin tab and resize it to fit in a corner. Then you can also add some buttons and a background image.
