I had a look at that and they have done a great job. I am just worried of the damage it will do to a lcd screen as it has a little pressure on the switch which could damage pixles IMO.
Touch screen are a bit different as it is a bigger surface area and they are designed for it

You might be right Manta.
I am wondering if an overlay of thin plexiglass similar to a Touch screen overlay would work, or a soft cover(surgical tubing) over the switch poll would offer enough protection. Thing I am gonna try this. seems to me that it can be built for around $50. & would work great with TB and eleminate the need for expensive touchscreens. |

Het gang, here is a device I made to use with the Wii remote project.
It is made by attaching an LTD and a switch to a steel sewing thimdel. After everything was assembled and battery attached, I stretched a rubber finger guard over the device. This makes for a very soft touch/activation that wont damage my monitor (I hope )![]() |
