Hi!
I would like to present my A10 Pit. The cockpit is a copy of a A10 Thunderbolt II. That cockpit contains two 10,4” TFT touchscreens with a touch-buddy profile created by myself. The TB-profile includes almost 100 pages with maps, airport ground and departure charts, checklists, game orders and a lot of other stuff. The next interesting point is the X52 extension. The stick is situated in the middle of the pit, like in a real A10. I tried to avoid the following condition “Aim to high, never fly”. I think it is a good compromise at the moment. |

That is very, very sweet. How difficult would you say the extension was to build? I've considered doing something like that before, and I'm not a complete novice to soldering, but it still seems daunting. Also, is it all running off one computer, or is there a second system running the touchbuddy screens ... is LOVP also incorporated? Is this too many questions??

That my friend is a fine 'pit setup, not too complicated, looks good and with excellent use of the touch screens. I would say that is a perfect example of a how a touch screen setup should be, no switches to break, no spending hours repairing and tidying wires and all that easy to use touch screen goodness.
I think I'm a little bit jealous ![]() Is it a modified Akers-Barnes 'pit perchance? Nice work, any chance of some bigger pics? 'Rep Out.

I spent two days for the extension. I think round about 7-8 hours. Now I can say it was qiute easy. And soldering isn´t so hard
The hardest step is to cut the wires, because after that you have to continue ![]() Quote:
There is also a TB runing on the second PC, with charts, maps, commo lists, except game commands. TB is runing in local mode on both PC´s. Maybe I will change it to client mode later. I´m also able to use LOVP. I tested it and it is working. |

Hi Jabog,
Nice pit but what caught my eye was that navigation aid pinned lower right. I have one but dont have a clue how to use it. I suppose you do since its there , can you let me know or direct me to a site that explains how to use it. Cheers from aceweepop |
