Just an introduction...

Hi,

I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself as a new (and somewhat belated!) TouchBuddy user.

I used to fly IL2/Pacific Fighters with an online squad about three years ago and have also been an avid FS9/FSX flight simmer for that time. I recently stumbled across a reference to TouchBuddy when investigating Battle of Britain: Wings of Victory and have subsequently been enthused to reinstall my copy of IL2:1946.

I don't have a touch screen as yet and have purely been running TB on a second monitor with mouse control. I do hope to be able to source a 7" or 8" sometime soon though in order to test out my re-skin of WBK's excellent IL2 profile. It's based entirely on WBK's layout and functionality, so full credit goes to him for that, and is really just a visual makeover as I wanted the GUI to be a little more 'WWII' for my IL2 use. I'll post some taster screens of my progress up in an other thread.


Many thanks to Zorlac for this incredibly useful application which has breathed new life into my gaming experience and to Wild Bill Kelso for his superb toolkit. I wish I had discovered this great app earlier!
