hello, I have a touchscreen monitor with 3m system, previously worked it perfectly over XP 32bit (Touchware 5,64 SR4), now I have changed to Windows 7, and now work only the drive, but the software didn’t.
My problem: I cant synchronize display. Someone can help me? Someone in same case? Sorry my English! ![]() Thx |

Free touchware software download Download - touchware software download Files If that doesn't pan out, you might be able to find some other suitable source of software/driver updates via a Google search. Good luck! |

Well, I finally had to install Win7 64bit when my system crashed. It had just arrived in the mail and I had planned on testing it on a dual boot. But since my system crashed I just went for it.
I downloaded the new Windows 7 drivers from EETI and they are working fine I guess. I had a problem with my Windows XP Pro x64 setup and have the same problem still. So, I don't think it is the drivers, but I am not sure... When I touch the screen the cursor always appears below and to the left about one inch. I have adjusted the location by maxing out the Offset X & Y Axis settings. Now it only appears about 1/4 of an inch below and to the left. This was happening in Windows XP Pro x64 before I went to Win7 Home Premium x64. But when I had first installed the original Windows XP Pro x64 I did not have this problem. It just started at some time. I have plugged the touchscreen into my old Dell, where I originally used it, and it works fine. The cursor appears where I touch my finger. So, I don't know what the hell is going on... It makes no sense!! WBK

Hi wbk
I can remember to get the same problem long time ago with xp32, but i cant remember how exactly solved. I´m not 100% sure, but i meant i did take select the main tft (22") as touchscreen and did take a 4 point calibration. Than i did select 8" as touchscreen and have also taked a 4 point calibration and after them the mouse was exactly at point of touch. You can trying this, maybe it solved your problem. hope so sorry for my bad english regards Peter |

Thanks Peter. I am using the new Windows 7 TouchKit drives and when I select the Main screen as the touchscreen, I cannot do the 4 point calibration because it 'hides' the mouse. I still try to click but it does not work. Maybe I need to try the old drivers?

Hi wbk
Show in the attribute of your mouse(win7). In the options of your pointer(third page-pointeroptions-visibility), you have an option "hide mouse when using keyboard", try uncheck the box. maybe this helps to try your 4point calibration. Thanks Peter.
Nope, that did not help. I did turn on the option to show a circle when you press the Ctrl key. And I could see the circle for a half second. So, I did have my cursor over the touch point. But it seems that the 4 point calibration disables the mouse in Win 7.

you are right, its also not working for me. After trying 4point calibration on 24" monitor i had the same problem like you. My mouse was more than a finger outside the touchpoint after recalibrating my 8" monitor.
But i solved the problem. Try this. Start a 4point calibration on first monitor. You not need the mouse for this, you can touch on your second monitor the lower right corner. Than calibrate your small monitor and show its working or not. When this not work, than use the option "Delete & Calibrate" and restart 4 point calibration. After this my mouse was exactly on touched point. ![]() hope that helps Regards Peter |
