Bill to get screen shots you need to do a screen dump of the profile Tabs and save the images. Then upload these images to one of the various online sites like Flickr etc. [I don't think you can upload images directly to this forum] You will then be able to get a URL's for your various images which you can insert in a message or profile screen using the "Insert image" button on the toolbar. Hope this makes some sense - I think there are a few online tutorials on how to insert images on Form messages, I dont have a link to hand but should not be too hard to find.

The profile was there yesterday.....but it is not today. I hope I didn't screw something up when I attempted to move my JPG images to this site. By the way, I included screenshots of each tab in my profile.

I'll be honest with you, I just am not familiar with how to post images and other things besides forum responses on websites.

I can upload the screenshots vie either a file transfer or URL.....I would think the file transfer woud be more permanent, rather than linking to another site?

If my profile package got lost or accidently deleted, let me know and I will resend it.

Yes, you just have screwed something up Bill, but it's all good. I had downloaded it yesterday to take a looksy. So, I just deleted your profile and uploaded it and some thumbnails.

It is now available for download, and you can filter the list of profiles using the Filter combobox and select fsx.

Thanks for rescuing me. Also, I appreciate that you added the screenshots. I would really like to learn how to do that myself.

Did you post the JPG files on another site and then link them to the text description I originally wrote?

I plan on developing other profiles for other complex planes I fly in the future.

Yes, the first step is to upload your images to some image hosting site. There are many, but I like Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket and ImageShack® - Online Media Hosting. You don't have to create an account there, but you should so that you can edit and delete and view all of your images that you upload. Once you upload an image most sites will give you a url to the image file like this:

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t11/Snacko/DSC01196.jpg

You take that url for the image and put these image tags around it. (Replace the xxxxx with the url in your forum post and you will see the image appear in your post.

Go to one of those above websites, and upload your own image. Then you can practice posting an image here: Signature testing area - Official TouchBuddy Forum

That's it.... And when you are posting look at the post toolbar in the Editor. There is a little yellow button that will put those IMG tags around your image for you so that you don't have to type them. Just practice using the different tags and thumbnails those image hosting sites give you and you will figure out the rest.

Not yet, but I will in another week or so as I'm going to be very busy with some other things.

However, I have done what you suggested before a long time ago, and I believe I can host photos on my host ISP account as they set aside space for their users for this purpose.
