WantTo submit a new profile

I've developed an profile for Flight1's Cessna Citation Mustang for FSX and I would like to make this available on this site. The file, in Zipped form, is 16.9 MB. I assume that is the format desired?

How do I do this?

You just go to the Profiles forum and click 'Add Entry' in the toolbar near the top. Let me know when you have it uploaded there because I need to approve it before it can be seen.

I uploaded my profile for your review. I hope it uploaded ok. Feel free to modify my description if you feel you can improve it or you find any errors.

In the zip file I included .jpg images of each tab so please add them to the description.

It should be noted that I ran this by Jim Rhodes at Flight1 as I was concerned about the inclusion Flight1 manual, which is in PDF format, as one of the tabs. He was supportive of this profile.

You don't need to do anything Bill. It is now available for download. You could add some screenshots to your description if you like. That's always nice to have. But it is ready for download an looks like it is our very first FSX profile??

How do I add screenshots?

Can I edit the intro file that shows up on the profile selection on your site?

You can edit your post/upload on the profiles forum. Just click the little pencil icon to edit. Then you can post image using the [IMG] tag just like in any other post. Obviously you need to upload your pictures somewhere. If you don't know how to do this don't worry about it. Just an idea.

Yes I definately want to add screenshots. I really don't know how to do it.

I would like to insert all these screen shoots inside the text message like everyone else has done.

I attempted to upload a screenshot but it was too large. so I shrunk down to less than 18 kb and I got an error message about wrong rename, or something.

So I want to insert 6 screenshots, one for each tab.

Can a Mod double check that Bill's profile has been approved for download. I can see it listed below on main page but if you click on the link it is not available. Have been through the profiles section and don't seem to be able to find it.

Bill to get screen shots you need to do a screen dump of the profile Tabs and save the images. Then upload these images to one of the various online sites like Flickr etc. [I don't think you can upload images directly to this forum] You will then be able to get a URL's for your various images which you can insert in a message or profile screen using the "Insert image" button on the toolbar. Hope this makes some sense - I think there are a few online tutorials on how to insert images on Form messages, I dont have a link to hand but should not be too hard to find.
