Hey, just wanted to voice my opinion on this great software and site! Thanks, Zorlac for the software upgrade, it works great for me now (at least in the testing phase). Although I still can't create a working shortcut, I can shortcut to the app folder and then it's only a click from there. And of course thanks to WBK and anyone else who helps out. You guys are "da bomb"!
Just got notification that my touchscreen out of HK is delayed because the plane broke! Ah well, it gives me time to play with the program a bit. Sending out the donation today (with YOUR name on it of course, Zorlac... lol, wonder if they have any idea who "Zorlac" is?) Thanks again guys! |

Do you know how to create a basic shortcut to a program? Of so, create a shortcut of TouchBuddy.exe on your desktop. Then right-click it, and select Properties in the popup menu. In the 'Target' Textbox delete everything. You need to enter a path to the progam (ie. TouchBuddy.exe), and then some parameters for the program to use. This example works. And it loads the profile in local mode, not client/server. Must make sure the paths to TouchBuddy.exe and your profile are correct for your system. "C:\TouchBuddy\TouchBuddy.exe" -m local -c "C:\TouchBuddy\profiles\LockON - FC\lomac-zorlac.tbc"

Hey WBK, thanks for the help. That worked. I usually right click and "create shortcut" -or- click "pin to start menu" and that works for me, but not this time. You're right, I had to type in the actual path. Don't know why it's so, but it is. Thanks again.. man, you guys are good!
