Default TM-868 info & source

Just FYI, I got my TM-868 off Ebay for about $150, shipped from Hong Kong (in two days!). Overall, the transaction went smooth, BUT there was no car adaptor included as advertised (personally, I don't need one) AND the plug is the Euro style rounded one (which I was told via email they were the USA style). Radio Shack sells an adaptor for $5. Overall, I'm pleased with this screen. If you want info on the source, shoot me a PM.

Hey Vegas, got the same ts from ebay. Mine was shipped from Jupiter(?) Florida. With shipping it came to around $170. Got the car adapter. All in all I am happy with it so far. Got alot of great help here to get it up and running.

Yep, I saw that one too, but I opted for saving $20 (although really on $15 with you add in the adaptor I had to buy). But it was taking a bit of a chance. I really am getting into this! lol

Hey Vegas, that's a pretty good deal. I got mine bought and shipped from ebay for about $167. You can get some good deal there. The week before I bought mine, a guy won a bid for under $100 for the touch screen I got. Damn...

PS: What do you do in Vegas? Are you in the business, or something else? Just wondering since your in North Vegas...

WBK, I kinda got lucky... I saw the same screens going for quite a bit more. Did a last second bid to get it with shipping for just under $150. Man, that guy that got one for $100 made out like a bandit!

North Las Vegas is like a suburb of Las Vegas. About 15 miles from the Strip. 2nd fastest growing city in the country right now! Anyway, I retired 2 1/2 years ago after 25+ years as a police officer in Ohio. I had enough of the snowy winters! Now it's pretty much all playtime (no, not at the casinos... you would go broke in a hurry!). Though I think I might look for something part time in the relatively near future... then again....

I haven't lived in Vegas since '91, I take it that you don't live in what was traditionally Northtown. Cuz when I was there NLV was a bad place to be after the sun went down.

lol, yep rugg, I live in the northern part of NLV. The southern part is really bad, but it's all new development in the north. It's getting close to 200,000 people, major developments left and right.

I thought that might be the case. When I lived there before moving to Green Valley I lived in the apartments on the southwest corner of Smoke Ranch and 95. If you drove a mile west there wasn't anything. I painted alot of the new houses over on that end of town.

Holy smokes, Smoke Ranch and 95 are on the fringe of the inner city now! lol It is just going nuts. If we hadn't moved when we did, I don't think we could afford it now.
