Mainly for people that use client/server so not to slow down there gaming machine
How about adding some kind of voice recognition capability to touch-buddy aswell? so touchbuddy would recognise your voice commands and send them to your gaming machine aswell as your touch commands i think there are a few freely available voice command programs around already maybe one could be incorperated http://clans.gameclubcentral.com/shoot/ for example not essential though, just a bit of gravy, touch-buddy is a fantastic program and i thank you for all your efforts maybe make a suggestions (or mad ideas ) section of the forum aswell?

Well, i`ll take a brief look, but surely your headset/mic would be attached to the game PC, and not the TB client machine...???

nopes in my pit im going to have it plugged into the secondary touch-buddy client machine, so the game sounds, and teamspeak are completely seperate
i will probably have a mono headset and mic, my game system is on a 5.1 home cinema setup, its more realistic this way i think, being surrounded by the sound, and the voice chat coming through the mono headset also i want to get the absolute maximum out of my game machine and run as little as i can on it my pits almost ready to start using, i will post some pictures asap

main reason is so i could have voice recognition on the client machine along with teamspeak, and then have tb send the keystrokes to my gaming/server machine
I just thought it would be a cool additional feature to add to TB, although im not a programmer and i wouldnt know how hard it would be to implement http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en seems like just a front end would need to be made?

I am still convinced that it would be vastly easier and faster for the shoot development guys to write a client/server implementation of their own software than it would be for me to try to hack something together. As such, I wont be adding this to my to-do list, its just too time consuming.

Urban !
To have a nice voice recognition system just get a set of Microsoft Sidewinder Gamevoice ( with USB Hardware ) ...may be on ebay or any Internet-Shop.. This item will not be produced anymore and you do not get any support on it too.. but believe me i have one Set on each Computer and it works like a charm Just activate the voice recognition with a mouse button for example and this thing will understand your VOICE Command to 90 % . You can make Profiles for game or Software Utilities ( I made different profiles for Raven Shield, Swat 4 , Lock On , Battlefield 1942 , BF 2 ... voice recognition works for german spelling ... there must be also voice recognition for english language and spelling too. ) greetings GSG_9_LIGHTNING |
