I look forward to spreading the word as soon as I learn how to use Touch-Buddy. I am a charter member in another aviation forum that I suspect no one there knows of this potential jewel. I am optimisticly excited to share this with them.

Zorlac,

I still hang out at the Bombs-Away forum. It was started over a year before B-17II came out. We were told by the developers that it would have online support and was to be capable of having a crew of 10 people in each bomber all tending to their respected stations. Added to this was to be the fighter jocks that were to either escort us or try to shoot us down.

We waited and practiced formation flying online in Flight Simulator 2000. We formed virtual Heavy Bomb Groups, many having their own spin off websites and forums. Fighters did the same by forming virtual allied and Luftwaffe squadrons. We had a virtual chain of command and had already worked on how we were going to wage war. Then, the developer announced, at the twelfth hour, that B-17II would not have any online support. I was a huge proponent of what we were growing at Bombs-Away and needless to say, I was crushed.

I then formed a Naval site with similar intent for the new version of of a WWII submarine and destroyer Sim. They turned out to be duds as well, far short of what the developers claimed they would be.

Now, I fly around in some heavies in FS2004 waiting for something with teeth to show up for the heavy bomber lovers like me.

I would welcome your input at our site, but would like to get my hands around Touch-Buddy first. I just received my touchscreen late last night and only got it connected when I got sleepy. Please allow me a little time with it, but know I sure would like to introduce Touch-Buddy and obtain your valued input with our group.
