Ok, just tried installing and running Falcon 4. The screen locks the mouse cursor once in game. You get little green arrows when you get to the edges. One would imagine that this was to help in panning views, pre-TrackIR.
Falcon AF doesn't do this and allows the cursor to leave the screen, thus allowing TB to work in local mode. Might be something of a consideration as to why Falcon users haven't embraced TB fully. It's a deal breaker for me for "old" Falcon, as I'm not gonna fly w/o TB. Shame too, 'cause a lot of people did some fantastic work with this old sim. I'm gonna post around and see if there is a way to stop this behavior, but I'm not hopeful. ![]()

Hey Vegas,
I have noticed that in F4AF, that when I use the mouse to move the cursor out of the game...it takes several trys..in other words when it gets to the edge,I get the green arrows but by attempting it a few times in a row,it will finally get out. this does not interfeer with TB..but was wondering if the same is true for you |

Hipshot, nope, I never get the green arrows in F4AF. That's really weird that one of us gets them and the other doesn't...

Hey, I got an idea. I use TrackIR, and F4AF detects it upon use (I know because the "use trackir in 2d" option is available, but its not if I forget to fire up trackir). Maybe that gets rid of the arrows?
Other than that, I have my X52 set to control the same as you, but I do have a profile loaded for all the buttons. Nothing to address views though, and I can't imagine this would be an issue. If it IS the detection of the TrackIR, I wonder if there is a way for you to tell it you have it, even if you don't, to get rid of those arrows? I looked in the config folder, but LP encoded those in (mostly) other than english. I could send you my options.cfg file, but it's gonna have my callsign on it. Still, you could give it a test? Just a thought. You could try shooting LP an email on this. Although I've had less than stellar response from them in the past.
