Hey gang, first post in awhile...been having comp probs but all fixed now
(reformatting sux )
Good news is TB is up n doing fine now that I have accepted the fact that my codeing skills are non existant and have begun using profiles created by REAL coders! ( you know who you are)
Looks like things have come along way in a short period of time around here....nice! Hats off to the TB Team.
Hip...out

Thanks Hip! Glad your up and running again. Now... Backup!

I use Norton Ghost and backup my C: drive to my D: drive in a HUGE image file. Takes about 10 minutes to backup or restore. Saved me many many hours...

i agree entirely on the Ghost procedure. I have a second IDE drive that is usually unplugged, but every now and then I power down, unplug all the other drive,s plug the offline IDE in and do a disk to disk copy. I cant tell you how many times its saved me at home... and Ghost at work is a life saver.

Z, do you have TB backed up? I finally burned a CD with my code about a week ago...

- code on my laptop
- code on my home machine
- stored in a subversion repo on my home linux box
- entire code base and previous branches burned to 2 x DVD after every revision (or serious coding session), one stays at home, one comes to work
