Correct, its just making a transparent "hole" in the window where the MFD is. As such, it can only make this hole for windows that are on the same machine, and as the MFD is only being displayed on the local machine, it only works in local mode for Orbiter.

3.) At the moment when the MFD tab is selected and the "External MFD" is displayed all the other surrounding buttons will not send their macros to the main game window but to the external MFD instead. This means that they do not work. I hope to get this fixed with a little help from Zorlac. In the meantime if you wish to use these surrounding buttons you will have to switch to another tab. (Z, is there anyway we can fix this, do I need to use the "SEND TO" commands?)

Can I assume you are using TBTk for your profile making? In the click-through module, did you set "noactivate = 1" for the MFD?

"SEND TO" commands are legacy, and are globally disabled in v1.3.x and onwards. They just caused WAY too much trouble.
