Unhappy My Mouse is dying, and so is my backup mouse.... Arggg

Well, I just posted this in Z's TB Forum, but here goes again...

Ok, think on it for a while if you like. I've got plenty of stuff to keep me busy for a while....

My MS Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 has been having a double click problem for a while. I single click, and about every 5 or 10 clicks, it acts like I did a double click. Very frustrating when your coding and clicking on a control on a form to select the control, and the code window pops up covering everything!

So, this morning I'd had enough... I dug out a wireless Intellmouse Explorer that I had but drove me crazy because I had to change the batteries once a month! Screw that, so I put it away and went back to my wired mouse. Now this.. So, I'm using that wireless mouse again, and I only had 2 batteries to put in it about an hour ago, and now they are dying on me. I have to let the mouse rest for a minute, so I can use it for 20 seconds. Guess I'm getting a new mouse today. Wireless and Rechargeable.. The Logitech MX1000 got 9.5 reviews at CNet. But $70 for a mouse! Ouch...

I have a Logitech MX510 and it's about bulletproof. They're fairly cheap, much cheaper than the MS stuff. And they perform better. My wireless Intellimouse Explorer just sits on a shelf now.

Well, I'm lazy. I saved some money on my touchscreen, but I needed a mouse now. And I didn't want to wait for shippment. CNet.com rated the Logitech MX1000 at 9.5 out of 10. Zorlac also gave it great reviews as he has a couple of them. So I just went out to BestBuy and bought one. It's charging now, and all those extra buttons will be great. Can't wait to give it a try.
