Default TouchBuddy Toolkit Demo Video

TouchBuddy Toolkit
Demo/Tutorial Video

I have created a video to show how to use the basic features of the Toolkit to create a simple profile for use in TouchBuddy.

Download videos here.

The download contains 2 videos:
  • Creating a Simple Profile - Create the graphics in just a few minutes, and the profile in even less time.
  • Using the Simple Profile - This demo shows both the Touchscreen and the Game screen at the same time.
The Downloaded video quality is better, but you can also watch these videos on Google Video here:
  1. Watch 'Creating a Simple Profile' on Google Video.
  2. Watch 'Using the Simple Profile' on Google Video.
I hope this will help get some of you started at trying the Toolkit and making profiles for your games.

PS: A Help file for the Toolkit is also currently in the works and should make it much easier to use many of the cool features of TouchBuddy.

Thanks,
WBK

wow... I really liked that Simple and to the point, which is exactly what we needed.

What application did you use to capture the desktop images/movie?

I downloaded the 30 day trial version of Snagit. It is fully functional for the trial period. I was suprised that it captured both monitors when I did my first 'screen' capture. So, I then told it to only capture a region and set that is only my primary monitor for the profile creation demo. Then used the full screen capture for the dual monitor capture.

I bought the license for Snagit years ago. It's a pretty good program even though I haven't used it but once.

Thanks Wild Bill, you make it look easy. In any event you made me want to try my hand at building a profile.

Thanks,

Great. Glad to hear that, because that's what we want.... More Profiles!

Well, my TM-868 is ordered and hopefully on the way now from Florida across country to WA state (am home for the holidays). When I get back to Russia I'll attempt to build a profile for Janes F/A-18. Actually, I already have some basic screen shots of the ingame pit that I want to use -- maybe somebody can help me make the buttons/switches active. Or maybe I can figure it out myself just using baby steps -- these video tutorials should help greatly. Will see when I get the unit and get back in flying mode.
