I posted this to Zorlac in the Developer's forums and he agreed it was a good idea to make better buttons for the *TB* tab.
This should be easy for some of you graphic experts. I suggested we make more 'icon' type buttons for the *TB* tab. Something that looks real slick and is easy to understand at a glance. I just mocked this up for an example of the idea: ![]() Some ideas to keep in mind for a good design: Maybe also group the buttons that change the Window 'State' (Max/Normal, Close, and Minimize TB) together. Also group the buttons that change the 'look' of TB together (ie. Cursor, Button Borders, Tabstrip, Statusbar, Titlebar). Maybe using a common background shade for each grouping? And put the Previous Tab button in the top/left corner? Put the Suspend Macros button next to the Macro List button. Zorlac said these are the requirments for the buttons: So, if you have some time, and can come up with some cool buttons to make the *TB* tab look real slick, post them here.

Anyone up for this? My *TB* buttons need a new professional look, rather than the current "functional but not pretty" image they have now...

Me, too. It takes some planning to come up with a graphic control that clearly demonstrates what it is intended for. I will try to put something together for several of them and submit it back for group appraisal.

Hey Z,
Are those black lines between the buttons part of their graphic? Or a divider or something that TB puts in? I'm just wondering if these buttons couldn't be kind of a continious 'control panel' without the black lines?

they are 1 pixel wide "gaps"between the buttons, and not part of the graphics
