The GTS isn't that much faster than the GX2, but I imagine it's buttloads faster than a 7950GT. I wasn't terribly happy with the original 8800 drivers (forget the release #) but figured it's what I get for being leading edge. The 97.92 released in Jan were much better, still some oddities but pretty good. I figure one more round aughta do it, it's been 1.5 months, should be next rev any day now.

No regrets, rarely will I have regrets throwing money at a video card. If you run at 2560x1600 or 1920x1200 buy the 640, don't save a penny now to screw yourself later. But if you don't, the 320 is getting good marks.
thanks tippy, i took your advice and ordered the 640mb version. my supplier only had the 320mb overclocked evga version which is cool cause the overclocked cards are getting great marks but with flight simulator x especially i am going to need ALOT of video ram and 640 is gonna be nice. Plus if i get the triplehead2go down the line i am gonna have a huge resolution... I can always overclock the evga card i am getting myself, i think evga just overclocks it in the bios with the exact same hardware, i dont think they use better ram or anything, probably just marketing.

now the gtx i cant believe, how could anyone spend over $500 on a video card? I am paying 359 after rebate for my card and that is a boat load in my mind, id rather wait and get the next generation dx10 cards and stick with the gts now which should be boat loads faster than my 7950gt.
