I thought you had to have 2 graphic cards? That's how mine's setup.

have you enabled the second display in the ATI Catalyst control panel? If not, the second video port will not be showing anything.

Yea, I tried the ATI Panel. It allows for attachment and identification of the 2nd Monitor but still no go. Software is trying to do its thing ok, Touchkit and all recognizes that there is something there. Config utility want to run on the primary display - not the TM-868.

I think the problem has to do with discriminating VGA and DVI. It appears from what I've read so far that the ATI card allows either 1xDVI connection or 2xVGA, but not 1xDVI and 1xVGA, so even though there are two connectors - if you're going to run 2 monitors, they have to both be VGA connections. There appears to be a DVI to VGA converter/adapter for this use that I probably got with the monitor but need to find. Plugging this adapter into the DVI port converts the DVI signal to VGA. Presently, I'm using the only DVI (cpu-to-monitor) connection which doesn't allow the ATI to use/recognize dual display - the computer thinks I only have 1 display.

...still checking and experimenting. At work (crap) so I'll get back on it tonight.

I run an ATI x800 XT PE at home, 1 DVI, 1 VGA, and I run two TFTs, one on each connector. Works fine.

Is the touchscreen using the VGA input? (Not the s-video/composite input)

The touchscreen has 1 VGA input, and at least one other input for PAL/NTSC video. Are you sure the touchscreen is trying to display the VGA signal (which is on), or trying to display the PAL/NTSC signal (which isnt on)?

does the screen work if you use the DVI->VGA converter, and plug it in as primary display? (just briefly, during power up or something)

On-Line and fully operational!!!

Af0ter. satisfying everyone else's needs this weekend and still not sure my video card won't support two flat panels, I set up TouchBubby as Client-Server, and everything works as advertized. Thanks tons guys!! Can't say enough.

Now, to read the "This weekend" thread and start thinking about graphics layouts. I'm going to be working one for the A-10 first off. I have bunches of A-10/F-16 panel diagrams, button and knob images, etc and I'm thinking along those lines......still have to work through the layout and design yet.

Again, kudo's to the group. My LOFC and future LOBS activities just got a BIG recharge!!
