Looking around, I can get this in Canada for under $500.00. A bit big, would fit many commands, but will it work with TB? Planar: Touchscreen LCD Monitors | PT Touch Monitors | Planar Systems
Thanks for any replies. |

TouchBuddy will work with any monitor that you can connect to your pc. TB is just a normal program with images that you can click/touch. Nothing special or specific to touchscreens per say.
But yes, it should work with that or any monitor. With a touchscreen you can obviously use your finger and touch it. But even with a normal monitor you can use TB, but you would then need to use your mouse. Hope that helps..

That's good news. When thinking of the cost of various switching interfaces, TB is the most practical. Single unit with any button profile for what ever sim one flies. Nice job with the F-18 information in S-HQ. Can there be "pages" with tabs on the screen? With a 15" 2 x MFD's could be configured on a page. Tab for Radio commands on another page, Tab for various cockpit switches on another page. Can this be done? Thanks for any information. I think TB is the way of the future with sims. It could replace a lot of gear.

Yes, that can be done.
What you can do is make a tab invisible, so it won't appear in the tabstrip. You can also hide the entire Tabstrip. You can then tell buttons to jump to a specific tab; and tell buttons to go back to the previous tab. Using these features, you don't need the tabstrip and can totally control what what tabs appear. You can also use Clone type buttons to act like 1 button, but put them on several tabs. When you click a clone button it acts like it's source button. And in the next version of the Toolkit, there are new features to lock Clone buttons to the position of the source, so editing and aligning things is much easier. What F-18 info are you talking about. I didn't hear about it.
