Tjena CoNa, and thanks for sharing.

<Rant>
I installed Vista for a few days, and although it looks nice and clean, not sure when I will go back. Its a bit of a challenging time to select an OS right now. The Fedora install on my laptop was challenging though enjoyable (in way only geeks). It's fine for watching divx or browsing, but there aint a lot of other entertainment. So I guess I will install Windows XP...

Har det bra!

Yeah, Installing Vista is a bit too early I agree, byt when you buy a new pc, whats your choise.

Allready got problem with my TM-686.
I cannot get the touchscreen to move the cursor, regardless of which drivers I use, XP or Vista.

I must be missing something or the screen is broken.
The sysem recognizes the usb mouse, but I cannot get anything to work.
Have any one else tested the touchkit on Vista?

Yeah, gone though the tutorial . I never come further than pressing the X, as it will not sense the touch at all.
It has been working fine on my old pc without any problems.
I will reinstall it on that one again and test to make sure it's not broken.

Tested on my old PC and it worked directly.
I just installed the touchkit and it worked.
Why does it not work with vista......

No Clue...

It is a beta though... But what does this mean on the download page:
"Only support new firmware version controller for Vista."

You might try and contact them about the new driver...

EDIT:
Oops, I didn't see the info at the top of the page, as the link took me straight to the bottom. Are you sure your Firmware meets their specs? All can say is it's a Beta. And their released drivers are flaky, so who knows about the Betas...

I have tested both with the old and the new drivers, no joy.
But from what I have seen here on the forum, there are people that have
tested touchbuddy with vista successfully.... So their touch screen drivers must be working.

I don't exactly understand what they mean by this...
"Only support new firmware version controller for Vista."
Can I upgrade the firmware of the tochscreen? Like a ROM?

I don't know if you can upgrade it. Only if the Mfgr supports that I suppose.

But is your firmware already supported? I checked my TM-868 on the Hardware tab of the TouchKit settings window and it says the hardware version is:
Controller Model: RES 4WIRE
Firmware Version 3.00

So, I think mine would be supported according to their info on that download page.

Have you tried booting into Safe Mode and trying these new drivers? Does Vista have a Safe Mode?
